The American Embassy of Rome is evaluating candidates for internship positions available in the Summer Session, running from June 8 thru November 30, 2026. Dates are fixed, please refrain from applying if you are not available throughout the entire period.
The positions will be within various and different offices under Management, the Consular Section, and other Agencies providing different services.
The ideal candidate will have a very good level of both English and Italian – both spoken and written – and will be available to intern on a part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week – Monday thru Friday) from June 8 thru November 30, 2026.
The Office of Human Resources will receive applications only from UNINT and will eventually contact qualified candidates to provide details on the various internship opportunities and to answer any question you might have.
Each selected intern will need to obtain a security certification from the Regional Security Office to start. Once a student is selected, the Office of Human Resources will initiate the security certification process.
All interested students should apply through UNINT providing an updated CV/Resume in English and a brief cover letter.

L’Ambasciata americana di Roma sta selezionando candidati per posizioni di tirocinio disponibili nella sessione estiva, dal 8 giugno al 30 novembre 2026 (le date sono fisse, si prega di astenersi dal presentare domanda se non si è disponibili per l’intero periodo).
Le posizioni saranno presso vari e diversi uffici della Direzione, della Sezione consolare e di altre agenzie che forniscono numerosi servizi.
Il/la candidato/a è uno studente triennale/magistrale, ha un ottimo livello di inglese e italiano, sia parlato che scritto e sarà disponibile per un tirocinio part-time (circa 20 ore a settimana, dal lunedì al venerdì) dal 8 giugno al 30 novembre 2026.
Ogni tirocinante selezionato dovrà ottenere una certificazione di sicurezza dall’Ufficio di sicurezza regionale per iniziare. Una volta selezionato uno studente, l’Ufficio delle risorse umane avvierà il processo di certificazione di sicurezza.
