Objectives

The three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies (Class L-14) aims to train professionals with a qualified legal education integrated with knowledge from other scientific fields, capable of applying the knowledge acquired in various professional contexts and operating competently, with a critical approach and a multidisciplinary perspective, in both the public and private sectors.

The study program is structured into a two-year common core for all tracks, followed by a final year focused on specialized disciplines characterizing each orientation: the first two years include foundation courses in legal, historical, economic, sociological, IT, and language fields, which together ensure students acquire solid basis which are required for any legal professional.

The third year offers a wide range of sector-specific courses aimed at providing advanced professional training with a specialization-oriented approach, responding both to students’ educational needs and interests and to the diverse demands of the labor market.

In accordance with current regulations, obtaining the degree allows graduates from all tracks to:

• enter the job market directly or through competitive selection processes requiring the degree qualification;
• access the single-cycle Master’s Degree in Law, other Master’s Degrees, or first-level postgraduate Master’s programs;
• take the qualification exam to become a Labour Consultant, after completing a two-year traineeship in a professional labour consultancy firm (Law No. 12 of 11 January 1979 and subsequent amendments).
