The global transformation of the 4th Industrial Revolution is also transforming the financial sector due to the technological invasion that it entails. Universities around the world are trying to address this revolution by adapting their educational offerings to the emerging demands of the financial market. The TRUST project aims to design and implement a new Master in FINancial TECHnology-FINTECH, as well as to modernize / update pre-existing masters of the faculties of Economics and Business with specific content on FINTECH in the project partner universities of the countries of Southeast Asia, Vietnam and the Philippines. The masters will be delivered in blended mode (workshop / distance learning) through the TRUST e-learning platform and at least 120 students will be selected per partner country. The project also aims to modernize the higher education institutions of the partner countries through the development of professional skills of teaching and non-teaching staff, and through the purchase of software and tools necessary for specific training in the field of Fintech in each higher education institution in Vietnam and the Philippines. TRUST is coordinated by Marconi University, and the University of Belgrade (Serbia), Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), three Philippine Universities (Mapua University, University of Cebu, Saint Luis University) and three Vietnamese Universities (Ho Chi Min Open University, Vientnam National University, HUE College of Economics) are participating as partners. Furthermore, Deus Technology (Italian Fintech start up) and the Fintech Philippines Association are partners in the project.
