Second-Level Master
Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM)
Qualification Master Certificate
Duration 12 months
Credits (ECTS) 60
The course is offered in Italian.
Objectives
The Master aims to equip healthcare professionals in both the private and public sectors with the ability to utilize therapies other than conventional ones, which, according to a terminology also adopted by the WHO, are referred to by the acronym TCMI (Traditional Complementary and Integrative Medicine). Among these, Phytotherapy, Homeopathy, Homotoxicology, Acupuncture, Oligotherapy, and Nutraceuticals were chosen because they are most suited to a modern clinical setting. Upon completion of the Master’s program, professionals will understand the theoretical foundations of these disciplines and the guidelines for their correct prescription or, at least, an effective approach to managing major clinical problems.
