Unimarconi offers training programs aimed at facilitating the transition from secondary school to university. These programs, each lasting 15 hours with at least ⅔ of the time to be conducted in person, are intended for students enrolled in upper secondary school. The activities, which can be organized as part of the curriculum or as extracurricular activities, will provide a certificate of attendance for those who participate in at least 70% of the scheduled hours. Hours completed, for those who do not reach 70%, may be recognized within the PCTO – Paths for Transversal Skills and Guidance.
The orientation courses aim to enable students to:

  • Gain insights into work sectors, potential career paths, as well as future sustainable and inclusive jobs and their connection to the knowledge and skills acquired.
  • Self-assess, verify, and consolidate their knowledge to bridge the gap between what they possess and what is required for their study interests;
  • Experience active, participatory, and laboratory-based disciplinary teaching, guided by the scientific method of learning;
  • Understand the context of higher education and its value in a knowledge society, explore different educational opportunities as a means for personal growth and the realization of sustainable and inclusive societies;
