In an increasingly complex and uncertain economic context, financial literacy represents a key skill to promote conscious resource management and sustainable well-being.

In Italy, financial literacy levels remain among the lowest in OECD countries, limiting many citizens’ ability to make informed economic decisions.

This project aims to strengthen these skills by promoting an integrated approach to economic and financial well-being, combining economic knowledge, behavioral awareness, and personal planning skills, with the goal of improving people’s quality of life and economic resilience across educational and professional contexts.

Learning Objectives

  • Make responsible choices regarding consumption, savings, investments, and retirement planning
  • Develop and apply a personal financial management plan that effectively integrates budgeting, saving, planning, and behavioral awareness
  • Understand how social, cultural, and media influences shape financial behavior
  • Recognize the link between financial literacy, responsible credit use, and the prevention of excessive debt
  • Understand the dynamics of personal and family financial planning
  • Manage economic stress and prevent money-related anxiety
  • Adopt behavioral strategies to enhance financial resilience and personal growth
