The main objective of the eVET project is to create an online platform (based on eTwinning) to connect vocational schools with the world of work more quickly. This contact will in turn facilitate the mobility of vocational school students towards work environments suited to their needs, allowing the students themselves to have more specialized “practical” training.
The eVET platform will exploit all the opportunities provided by Web 2.0 and will be available 7/24 by all interested people. To make the use of the platform safer and more efficient, it is planned to have users enter their PIC number. To access, users will have to enter their PIC which allows for faster identification of the reference reality. For these reasons, eVET has the potential to contribute to the development of school-work partnerships aimed at encouraging the work-based learning methodology.
