Evaluation Committee

The Evaluation Commitee is the University body responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of educational provision, research activities, and third mission and social impact initiatives. The Unit oversees the general methodology of the University’s Quality Assurance (QA) processes and also evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the Administration and its related services, in accordance with Ministerial Decree 1154/2021.

Its responsibilities include assessing, also through hearings and formal reviews, the overall status of the Quality Assurance System and the ways in which the University and the bodies responsible for QA monitor the performance of degree programmes, doctoral programmes, and departments. These evaluations are formally submitted to the PQA and to the University Governing Bodies for the periodic review of both the Governance System and the Quality Assurance System.

The Evaluation Commitee operates with full autonomy and reports exclusively to the academic governing bodies. It supports and collaborates with them in the overall assessment of the University’s performance, with the aim of continuously improving all institutional activities, in line with the guidelines and strategic orientations established by ANVUR. It also provides strategic support to the University in the review and enhancement of its Governance and Quality Assurance systems.
