Objectives
The safeguarding of the environment and the protection of territory require a wide range of skills with a cross-disciplinary nature, involving managerial, professional, and technical profiles. Professionals working in the fields of territorial protection, environmental protection, and Civil Protection are required to be able to collect, synthesize, and process all relevant information within short timeframes, in order to manage operations with absolute rigor, efficiency, and scientific accuracy, whether in relation to evolving disaster scenarios or, even more critically, to events that have already occurred.
Training in the field of environmental and territorial protection must take into account different categories of populations at risk, as well as the multiplicity of environmental, anthropogenic, and geological phenomena, and must be capable of providing scientifically verifiable predictions through appropriate tools. Planned with this objective in mind, the Master’s program aims to deliver specialized training while fully acknowledging the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of the thematic areas that contribute to the education of the various professional profiles involved in territorial protection.
Courses are taught by university professors, professional consultants, and officials from Public Administrations who work in the sector and within national and international organizations dedicated to environmental protection.
The program is delivered in Italian language; for further information, please contact admissions@unimarconi.com
