After graduating in Economics and Business from Università degli Studi “Tor Vergata” in Rome, Dr. Marco Belli undertook numerous further specialisation and professional development courses at both public and private institutions.
He has been part of Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi since February 2005, where he has held a wide range of key administrative and institutional positions. These include Head of the Rector’s Offices, Head of the Recruitment Office, Head of the Tenured Academic Staff Division, Secretary of the Doctoral Research and Postgraduate Programmes Office, as well as responsibility for the Regulatory Affairs Area, support to the Governing and Collegial Bodies, and Institutional Relations.
He has also served as a member of the University Quality Assurance Unit, a member of the Board of Directors, and Administrative Coordinator of the School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions (SSPL).
Since September 2023, he has held the position of Deputy General Director of Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, with delegated responsibility for the supervision and support of the areas relating to teaching activities and quality assurance.
Dr Belli is also deeply engaged in social and voluntary work. In addition, he serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for the Vicariate of Rome and is a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.
