The advent of Artificial Intelligence is redefining the boundaries of data protection, radically transforming the role of the Data Protection Officer. Today, a DPO Manager can no longer limit their role to formally verifying compliance with the GDPR; they must evolve into a strategic figure capable of managing the complexity of predictive and generative systems. Opaque algorithms, large-scale automated profiling, and the application of the Privacy by Design principle to Machine Learning represent the new and crucial challenges facing the field.

This Master’s program is designed to provide the theoretical and practical tools needed to navigate and manage this transition. Through an analysis of the European AI Act and an in-depth study of techniques for mitigating algorithmic risk, participants will learn how to assess the impact of artificial intelligence systems on individuals’ fundamental rights. The DPO of the future thus becomes an AI Governance Manager: a key professional and an indispensable bridge between technological innovation, data ethics, and business continuity.
