Objectives
The Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Heritage: Knowledge, Management, and Enhancement prepares professionals with a strong humanistic foundation, capable of connecting the cultural world with new technologies. The aim is to innovate the ways cultural heritage is managed, promoted, protected, and preserved by integrating traditional knowledge with the opportunities offered by the digital revolution and new media. This context requires multidisciplinary skills that combine classical knowledge with modern disciplines, in order to train flexible professionals ready to work in various areas of the cultural sector.
After a solid humanistic education based on foundational courses in history, linguistics and literature, and anthropology, the degree program progressively expands in the second and third years to a wide range of specialized disciplines. These are aimed at the study, enhancement, conservation, and protection of cultural heritage, understood in its broadest scope of content and methods, in fields such as archaeology, art history, archival studies and library science, demo-ethno-anthropology and environmental studies, as well as the relevant legislation.
The curriculum, structured into internal tracks or orientations, together with elective courses, allows students to deepen their knowledge and skills in the professional areas of greatest personal interest, also through participation in virtual workshops focused on current topics related to the evolving professional skills required by the labor market. The program provides both the foundations and the tools to enter the workforce immediately or to continue studies through master’s degrees or postgraduate programs, enabling further specialization according to one’s passions and aptitudes.
