Overview
The Master in Criminological and Forensic Sciences is aimed at anyone who wishes to enhance their professionalism by specializing in the broader field of criminological and investigative sciences. It is designed to provide theoretical and professional training for investigators, technical consultants (for the parties or for the judge), criminologists, and all professionals who provide interdisciplinary skills that foster a comprehensive and integrated view of the crime scene, both during the investigation and evidence-gathering phases, for a better understanding and reconstruction of a criminal event.
These skills can contribute to a better understanding and interpretation of the genesis of a criminal act, fostering greater awareness of the complexity of crime and criminal proceedings.
Particular attention will also be paid to highlighting the differences between various contexts such as the traditional “crime scene,” consisting of a well-defined physical-spatial environment, and the “digital crime scene,” consisting almost exclusively of computer data or digitized information, for which it is important to ensure authenticity during their acquisition.
The program is delivered in Italian language; for further information, please contact admissions@unimarconi.com
