Italy’s productive fabric is made up of 99.4% small and micro businesses (a study by INAPP – National Institute for the Analysis of Public Policies). Micro and small businesses number nearly 4 million and employ 63.4% of workers in the non-agricultural private sector.

In this context, it is clear that the development prospects of the entire Italian economic fabric and labor market depend significantly on the development of small and micro businesses.
