Objectives

The Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management provides students with the key knowledge needed to understand how public organizations (central administrations, local authorities, international organizations) and private organizations (SMEs, multinational companies, start-ups, and innovative enterprises) operate and are managed. The program takes into account the variety of existing organizational and institutional profiles, the diversity of management models, and the specific features related to organizational size, internationalization, and sector of activity.

  • The different curricula of the degree program offer professional opportunities in a variety of contexts and roles. In particular:

    – Graduates in Business Administration and Management work in organizations and companies of various types, both private and public, operating in different sectors: industrial, commercial, services, financial intermediaries, auditing and consulting firms, or professional practices. With knowledge of administrative, managerial, and organizational aspects of companies, and a multidisciplinary background based on quantitative, legal, and economic–social analysis skills, graduates are able to perform operational roles in various professional fields, such as:

    • Administrative assistant/manager and management control
    • Treasury and corporate finance assistant/manager
    • Competitive analyst

    • Marketing manager (product and sales manager)
    • Human resources officer/manager (Human Resources, HR)

    – The Administration and Finance Specialist, with specific skills in financial management and management control, is particularly suited to key positions in the following professional areas:

    • Head of tax and fiscal department
    • Banking and credit officer

    – The Human Resources Management and Labor Consultancy Specialist can work in a wide range of business and professional settings, both as an employee and as a self-employed professional. Main career opportunities include:

    – The Sports and Sports Events Manager finds employment in various sectors related to the sports industry, both as a self-employed professional and as an employee in public or private organizations. Career opportunities include:

    The degree program prepares students for the professions of:

    • Marketing technicians – (3.3.3.5.0)
  • To be admitted to the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma (upper secondary education) or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. In line with the specific educational objectives of the program, applicants are also required to have general knowledge, logical reasoning skills, and language skills at the level expected upon completion of upper secondary education. To verify the required entry-level knowledge, the University has introduced a specific non-selective Orientation Test. Although the test does not prevent enrollment in the program, it is mandatory. If the assessment result is not satisfactory, students will be assigned additional educational requirements, consisting of specific support learning activities aimed at restoring basic competencies, enabling them to adequately undertake the academic program. The Orientation Test must be taken within 60 days from enrollment and in any case before sitting any exams.
