This course explores the core skills of a Data Scientist, with a particular focus on the ability to manage Big Data and extract relevant information.

In particular, the terminology and key concepts of mathematical and statistical models are explored.

• Understand how to leverage historical data to better understand future behavior
• Understand how to analyze textual data reported on social media, web pages, etc. to identify the words, actions, and emotions present within texts
• Understand the process that allows you to choose, among possible actions, those that produce the best results
