The Quality Assurance Office is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring the University’s quality assurance activities, which are structured according to the institution’s threefold mission: Teaching, Research, and Third Mission/Social Impact.
The PQA defines processes for self-assessment, monitoring, and review, verifies their implementation, and oversees their proper execution. In line with the University QA system, it also ensures the correct flow of information to and from the Governing Bodies. The PQA continuously interacts with the actors of the QA system—Degree Program QA Groups (CdS), Joint Faculty-Student Committees (CPDS), Doctoral QA Groups (DdR), and Department QA Representatives—through an approach based on communication, dialogue, regular comparison, and sharing of objectives, strategies, and results, as well as identifying issues and addressing them.
