Overview
The course “Public Finance – Administrative and Accounting Processes, Logics, and Tools in the Public Administration” is designed to develop skills in the field of public administration, with particular but not exclusive focus on local authorities. The course aims to explore the organizational and accounting characteristics of public administrations through a learning path divided into four sessions. The first three sessions focus on strategic and financial planning, management, and financial reporting. The final session, focusing on economic and financial accounting, provides an overview of the main regulatory requirements and outlines the medium- to long-term framework resulting from the adoption of European (EPSAS) and international (IPSAS) accounting principles, which are geared toward accrual accounting.
