Objectives
The Master’s Degree in Modern Languages for International Communication prepares highly qualified specialists in multilingual communication. Graduates develop expertise in translation, editing, and adaptation of technical and literary texts (including for publishing purposes), multilingual communication for cultural, tourism, and commercial purposes, information services, and international cooperation at the Italian, European, and global levels.
The program’s primary objective is to provide advanced proficiency in at least two modern languages, with particular attention to specialized discourse and terminology. It combines advanced linguistic and metalinguistic knowledge with technical, methodological, and critical competencies in literature, linguistics, language teaching, and international relations. Students also gain an in-depth understanding of the cultures associated with their chosen languages, along with analytical tools for communication and translation practices in both general and professional contexts.
