Master’s Degrees Computer Engineering LM-32

Objectives

The Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering (LM-32) aims to train highly qualified professionals in the design and management of complex systems in the fields of computer engineering, mathematical and statistical sciences, and, more broadly, across the traditional engineering sector. To this end, the educational offering is expanded through three curricula focused on highly topical areas:

Digital Innovation Engineering:
This curriculum covers the entire field of Information Technology, including software development methodologies (based on microservices, distributed architectures, and cloud computing), the ability to design and optimize algorithms for solving complex problems, and the development of solutions to address vulnerabilities and system failures.

Internet of Things Engineering:
This curriculum provides knowledge for the design and development of intelligent systems and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, such as sensors and actuators, smartphones and wearable devices (e.g., smartwatches, medical devices, augmented and virtual reality headsets), vehicles, and drones, thereby creating a link between the cyber world and the physical world.

Artificial Intelligence Engineering:
This curriculum focuses on the principles and methodologies underlying artificial intelligence and machine learning, while also fostering awareness of the ethical and social impacts of AI, including issues related to privacy and sustainability.
