The new seven-year period 2020-2027 began with a major implementation:
EWP – Erasmus Without Paper, a project funded by the European Commission and developed by the European University Foundation, aimed at creating a network for the secure and rapid exchange of data.
Universities and all students involved in the Erasmus program will use the main documents relating to Erasmus mobility exclusively in electronic format.
Each student will have a single entry point, the Erasmus Mobile App, which will allow them to manage all interactions with their host university and universities, including information on mobility and teaching programs, and, in general, to manage all phases of the mobility: before, during, and after. Students will be periodically updated on the process, which is expected to be completed in the fall.
