SEISMOS is a research project focused on evaluating earthquake-induced settlements in multilayered soil profiles supporting shallow foundations. It aims to improve the understanding and prediction of seismic soil–foundation interaction by analyzing how varying soil layers respond to seismic loading. The project supports the development of more reliable assessment methods and design guidelines to enhance the seismic safety and performance of shallow foundations
