Committee for Well-being, Inclusion, and Equality

The Committee for Well-being, Inclusion, and Equality at Guglielmo Marconi University has a proactive, consultative, and monitoring role to promote equal opportunities, inclusion, and well-being within the University, involving both students and staff.

The University is committed to providing an academic environment based on respect, fairness, and the appreciation of diversity.

Committee Composition

The Committee is composed of faculty and technical-administrative staff (PTA), who work to promote an inclusive, fair academic environment that respects diversity.

Tasks and Objectives

The Committee focuses on key issues for developing a university community based on gender equality, inclusion, and well-being. Specifically, it:

  • Monitors gender equality among students, faculty, and staff
  • Drafts a Gender Equality Plan and a gender budget for the University
  • Proposes support measures for students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), and special educational needs (SEN)
  • Monitors inclusion and anti-discrimination efforts for both students and staff
  • Promotes university well-being, monitoring conditions of students and staff
  • Oversees the implementation of Strategic Plan actions related to inclusion and well-being
  • Drafts proposals on relevant matters for consideration by the University’s Governing Bodies
  • Acts as a consultative body for the Pro-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs and for Central Administration on matters of equality, inclusion, and well-being
