Overview

In a competitive arena where, for companies, it is no longer enough to “open the shop and wait for customers to come in,” it becomes necessary—if not mandatory—to leverage all the potential offered by digital tools so that the business can achieve its goals.

The first phase of digitalization focused carefully on images and videos to be used on new media, while textual communication remained unchanged, continuing to follow the rules of traditional journalistic or classic advertising communication.

Today, also due to restrictive policies adopted by social networks and the indexing policies of search engines, the need to apply a unique and specific writing method for each type of digital platform on which content is produced is becoming increasingly evident.

The Blogger and Copywriting course addresses all the writing techniques required to produce effective texts based on the intended objective and the medium used: from the classic three questions “who, what, how,” to writing content for corporate blogs, to drafting copy for social media posts, and finally to creating ads for Facebook and Google campaigns.

During the course, the various types of texts to be used according to the user’s level of awareness will be analyzed. Copywriting will be discussed, and some policies of major social networks that reward or penalize post content created by individuals and companies will be illustrated.

Special attention will be given to two fundamental topics for anyone professionally involved in producing online content: writing to sell and writing with an SEO-oriented approach.
